It’s simple. Google, Bing, and the other search engines have quite openly declared war on what they regard as tactics that manipulate search engine results. It is simple, when you are focused on rankings and link building, you are already set up for failure. Rules and systems change and there is only one solid way to win long term; Talk to your customers through useful and compelling content. Search Engines want to recommend sites that provide the best user experience, not the sites that are best at guessing how the search engines rank pages. As Matt Cutts of Google said at SXSW in March, “We have a potential launch later this year, maybe a little bit sooner, looking at the quality of merchants and whether we can do a better job on that, because we don’t want low quality experience merchants to be ranking in the search results.”… Continue Reading
